Times are a bit unsettled right now, which can further contribute to negative emotions and thoughts, particularly in individuals with acquired or developmental conditions. Being able to self regulate your feelings may be challenging under “typical” circumstances. Given how atypical our lives are right now, it can be much easier to have your thoughts and feelings get the best of your outlook and self-care.

The Love Your Brain Foundation is an amazing national organization which provides resources at a local level to individuals who have sustained a brain injury. During the month of April, LYB is providing four FREE opportunities for meditation practice and resilience training. Click here for more information.

The Autism Research Institute is a non-profit organization which utilizes research and online education to support professionals, families, and individuals impacted by autism. ARI provides several webinars throughout the year on various topics. An upcoming webinar on coping with family life and virtual interactions
is perfect for those on the spectrum seeking additional resources during the current pandemic.

Remember, by taking care of yourself, you are taking care of others too.
