We live in a world in which technology is ingrained in everything you do. For instance, your phone serves as your alarm clock, music library, an actual library (for books of course), and provides access to countless numbers of videos, apps, and other means of connectivity to others. Your phone can be connected to your tablet and laptop so that you never miss an opportunity to save, edit, or share information.
Times are a bit unsettled right now, which can further contribute to negative emotions and thoughts, particularly in individuals with acquired or developmental conditions. Being able to self regulate your feelings may be challenging under “typical” circumstances. Given how atypical our lives are right now, it can be much easier to have your thoughts and feelings get the best of your outlook and self-care.
