Welcome!

I’m Devon, a speech-language pathologist turned cognitive management and wellness coach. My work is grounded in years of supporting adults who are neurodivergent and adults with acquired cognitive changes—but also in my own lived experience of learning how to care for a busy, thinking, feeling brain in a world that rarely slows down.

Over time, I saw a recurring pattern: highly capable, insightful adults struggling not because they lacked skill or motivation, but because they were navigating constant cognitive load, burnout, and systems that were never designed with their brains—or identities—in mind. That realization is what led me to shift my work toward coaching that centers cognitive sustainability, autonomy, and wellness, rather than performance alone.

How I Think About Cognitive Wellness

Cognitive management isn’t about doing more—it’s about understanding how your brain uses energy, responds to stress, and recovers. That philosophy shows up not only in my professional work, but in how I live my own life.

I’m an avid runner and a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Running has taught me about pacing, endurance, and respecting limits—skills that translate directly to managing cognitive fatigue and preventing burnout. Yoga has deepened my understanding of nervous system regulation, breath, and body awareness, all of which play a critical role in attention, emotional regulation, and decision-making.

These practices continually remind me that wellness is not linear, productivity is not the same as worth, and sustainable progress requires rest, flexibility, and self-trust.

My Coaching Style

My approach is:
  • Neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based
  • Culturally responsive and trauma-informed
  • Practical, reflective, and collaborative

I don’t believe in rigid systems, one-size-fits-all routines, or "fixing" people. I believe in helping adults understand their own cognitive patterns, advocate for what they need, and build strategies that actually fit their lives.

Outside of Sessions

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me running outdoors, on my yoga mat, or spending time decompressing in ways that support my own cognitive balance. These practices keep me grounded and continually inform how I show up in my work—with curiosity, humility, and respect for each person’s lived experience.

If you’re looking for coaching that honors both cognition and humanity, I’m glad you’re here.
