Cognition, Speech & Language is an independent provider of speech, language, and cognitive services. We evaluate, treat, and consult with individuals who present with challenges in one or more of the following areas:
Understanding language presented aloud or in writing
Clearly expressing wants, needs, and interests verbally and through writing
Engaging in social communication
Sustaining attention
Shifting attention
Memory for familiar or new information
Reasoning for safe decision-making
Organizational and planning skills to support problem solving
Who do we serve?
We see adults with developmental or acquired diagnoses who are seeking individualized therapeutic services to help them at various phases of transition into academic, community, work, or home settings. Examples of clinical populations served include, but are not limited to:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Intellectual or Learning Differences
Stroke
Traumatic Brain Injury (Including Concussion)
How do we provide services?
Individual treatment sessions are provided virtually through a web-based teletherapy platform. With an internet connection and use of a smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can access and complete treatment sessions from the comfort of your own home.
