Employers want to hire employees with good communication skills and problem-solving abilities. These skills can be a barrier to success in the workplace for individuals with and without disabilities. Potential employees may have the required education or experience, but may benefit from additional support to maximize their potential. Others may be new to the workforce and require additional training to help them become acclimated to the dynamic nature of the work environment. Our speech-language pathology services may help improve cognitive and language skills in the workplace by:
Increasing the confidence of your employees as public speakers
Providing different ways to think through problems, and consider the various perspectives that are impacted by potential outcomes
Concisely and efficiently relay information to other parties
Developing awareness of how to be an effective communicator (e.g., tone of voice, body language, eye contact, level of detail based on audience, organization)
Helping employees more effectively interact with colleagues they may perceive as different

Workplace training/seminars for employers and employees with and without disabilities
Individual or group treatment for employees specific to your workplace model
Depending on the treatment model, services may be provided in person or via a web-based teletherapy platform. Should services be administered via teletherapy, you will have the opportunity to interact with a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist within the web-based therapy format and assess your level of comfort with the software as you are guided through a simulated session.
